While I published here a new post at least every week over the past year, six weeks have now passed without any sign of life. The past few weeks have been the busiest of the year. A very exhausting first few weeks of the winter semester with a high teaching load was followed by several meetings and other obligations. End of November followed the Annual Congress of the German Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatic Medicine and Neurology (DGPPN). Here I was actively involved with ten lectures at eleven events, including two training workshops of four hours each.
Naturally, the creative force suffers from such a workload. After returning from the already much more relaxed Congress of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology-pharmacology (ACNP) in Hollywood, Florida, I’m now developing plans for the coming year. By the end of the year I will publish two articles on some new developments. In 2014 I not only plan to modernize the design of my blog; I would also like to make it more interactive. In particular, the great success of my videos (with up to now about 18,000 calls) made me think about starting an interactive video project in the coming year with the participation of patients, families, students and all those principally interested. Here I would like to call – an official video call will follow – all interested parties to contact me to help shape the project from the beginning.
But first of all I wish all my readers a beautiful and peaceful festive season.
